Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 5 Fast Leveling Smithing (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

Smithing is pretty easy to level because the skill is ranked up fast and easy. It also produces something you can sell, albeit at a significant loss to what you have put into making it. This guide is designed to help you level smithing as cost and time efficiently as possible. Leveling smithing mostly requires money and a bit of time. This is because in order to do it you have to buy iron ingots and leather, although the leather is pretty easy to come by as long as you don't sell the wolf pelts and other pelts of animals that you have killed whilst walking around skyrim. Some pelts give one leather (wolf and other smaller animals) whilst larger animals produce two leather per pelt. Every city has at least one smith, Whiterun even has two. You can go from city to city making sure that for every four iron ingot you have one leather, as it produces four leather straps which is what we will need for making an iron dagger. Next you will need to go to a forge. I usually use the forge of the last smith that I bought iron ingots or leather from. Then start creating iron ingots. Once you have selected it the first time, if you are on a pc, you can spam the enter button and click yes on the window that appears. For me a slight mouse movement was required so that the game would register the new click. You can continue this until you reach the required level. The best weapons are the Daedric weapons. Unfortunately you cannot make dragon swords, but you can make a dragon plate shield. I would suggest going down the right side of the smithing perk tree because that is where the Daedric armor and weapons are. The left side is slightly shorter, but you do not get to make Deadric weapons unless you also go up the right side of the perk tree as you cannot select the Deadric perk after you have reached the dragon armor perk if you have gone up the left side of the smithing perk tree.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 16 Fast Leveling Restoration (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

Restoration is very useful to have a high level in because you will quite often find yourself in the need of healing and using a regeneration potion all the time is expensive and wasteful. This guide will help you easily reach a high level in restoration quickly. First you will need to find a group of enemies. I would suggest that you do not use enemy mages because they can be quite powerful and unpredictable and eventually run out of magicka and then attack you with their weak dagger. Once you have found a group of enemies (around 5 or 6 is a manageable number) you can either turn the difficulty up or you can take off all your armor. Either one will increase the damage you take and thus can heal. It would be good if you have a few potions of magicka ready so that you can continue this process for a while, or try to tweak the difficulty or the armor you wear so that you can heal any damage you can take without needing a potion. The latter would be the cost effective way, but it will take you longer than if you take the maximum possible damage. The master trainer of restoration is Danica Pure-Spring who can be located in Whiterun in the Temple of Kynareth. However, in order for her to train you you have to complete a quest for her. Simply go to the place marked on your map to retrieve the Nettleblade. There are quite a few mages and a Hagraven there so come prepared. To make the roots of the large tree move strike it with the Nettleblade. Once you reach the tree you will have to interact with it. Some enemies will spawn that are somewhat tough to kill. Now you can return to Danica Pure-Spring and she will train you in restoration up to level 90.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep.6 Fast Leveling Alchemy (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

Alchemy is the most tedious skill to level up. Not only do you have to find the right ingredients to even be able to make a potion, but then every potion you make contributes very little towards leveling up. However, the leveling of alchemy is very profitable as some potions sell for quite a bit of gold. The way I usually level alchemy is that I always pick anything I can whilst I walk around the countryside. Ingredients at alchemy vendors are pretty cheap, so I usually also just buy every ingredient that have for sale. The next thing you will have to do is eat one of every ingredient that has unknown effects. To start with you will only be able to discover the top right effect of an ingredient, but a series of perks in the alchemy perk tree lets you discover more and more effects of an ingredient. After this you should always look at the potions you want most and make them first, the just go down the list and make as many potions as possible. You might also want to hold off using certain ingredients that are used to fortify smithing, enchanting and other useful effects such as invisibility and fortifications of certain skills until you have reached max level with alchemy so that those potions are stronger.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 11 Fast Leveling Block (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

Block is actually fairly easy to level up fast. All you have to do is find a group of enemies and just stand there and absorb the damage with you sword or shield. Should you not have a shield I would suggest killing the archers first, if there are any, because they just take your health down and you cannot block incoming arrows with a sword. You can't press the block button with something heavy and just leave it there because they actually flank around you and you won't be blocking them any more. I also suggest that you increase the difficulty because for the leveling up it counts the amount of damage that got prevented by blocking rather than the number of blows that you have blocked. The master level trainer, chief Larak of Mor Khazgur can be found in the north west of skyrim

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 8 Fast Leveling Pickpocket (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

Pickpocket has to be one of the easiest skills to level. Just by pickpocketing your level increases rapidly. For other skills you have to spend money to level them, find the right ingredients to level or have to use the excessively, this is not the case with pickpocket. Not only is it free, if you have the right perk you can sell the items you pickpocket to vendors and make a fair profit. As I said above, all you have to do is pickpocket items. From experience I find that not everything you pickpocket rewards you with the same experience. Because the success of a pickpocket attempt is dependent on the weight and worth of an item, I assume that the experience you gain from pickpocketing an item also depends on those factors. The items I pickpocket I usually use to level the enchanting because enchanting requires a vast quantity of items to enchant. After that they are usually worth much more than when they were unenchanted. Thus selling them is even more profitable. If you have the right perk in speech you can sell stolen items to vendors, but speech is very slow to level up so what you will want to do is join the thieves guild and do their quests until you receive the thieves guild armor. Then you can sell any items, even stolen items, to the lady that gave you your thieves guild armor, although other vendors offer more money for the same item.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 3 Fast Leveling Enchanting (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

Enchanting is one of those skills that is annoying to level and costs a lot of money to level especially if you are looking to just do training until level 90. I will outline some easy steps that you can follow which will help you make the leveling of enchanting less daunting and even somewhat profitable. The first thing you will want to do is go to the mages college in Winterhold. There you will find a number of people that will sell you soul gems. If you are a little short on funds just buy their lesser soul gems and leave the greater and grand ones alone. personally I usually go for the common, lesser and petty soul gems because I don't think you level enchanting any faster if you use a stronger soul gem. I advice buying both empty and full soul gems. Next you will need a weapon that is enchanted to trap souls. Usually the enhancement will say "If target dies within X seconds fills a soul gem." This is the type of weapon you will want. Then travel to High Hrothgar. Find Arngeir and ask him for the location for a word of power. This requires you to have done some of the main quest line. Alternatively you can go around the country side and kill all the animals you can find and go through dungeons and kill everyone there. Normal soul gems will only trap non-human souls. They will trap the soul of skeletons and draugr. To trap a human's soul you need a black soul gem. A human is always the strongest soul possible. You can also do a quest that rewards you with a soul gem that never breaks, google "black star" to find out more. Normal soul gems disappear after a single use. After you have filled up a soul gem find an enchanting table. I believe they are called arcane enchanter, but I am not sure. The one I usually use is in Dragonsreach in Whiterun. Once you are at a table disenchant anything you don't want anymore, although you only need one enchantment to level up enchanting, disenchanting also levels up the enchanting skill. Usually I like to enchant armor or necklaces and rings because for weapons you have to confirm the enchantment which makes the leveling take a little longer. The best way to acquire necklaces and rings is by pickpocketing the people around you, usually they are wearing some sort of jewelry. The best trainer I found for enchanting is Hamal who can be found in the inner sanctum of the temple of dibella in Markrath. She only offers training after you complete the quest she gives you when you rudely interrupt her in her ceremony. She will train enchanting up to level 90, but for a dear price.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 4 Fast Leveling Archery (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

In the first town you get to after the initial dungeon (it is also the place that you are directed to by the first quest) find Faendal (he is usually walking around the lumberjack or can be found in his house). Complete his quest making sure that you favorite him and not the other guy. Then go back to him and ask him to train you. Purchase training until you run out of money. Then select that you want to trade some things with him and take back your gold. It is best to do this as early as possible because then you can level up with his training and keep on doing it to the max level of 60 that Faendal can train you. Also complete all 5 times that you can train so that you gain maximum level to keep the loop going for as long as possible. In the video you can see that I keep on buying training even though I have actually leveled up.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 7 Fast Leveling Any Skill (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

Leveling up skills is essential in skyrim because as you get more powerful enemies are easier and easier to slay. Especially on harder difficulties leveling up is almost a necessity to have an easy time with the game. To gain those vital increases in magicka, health and stamina you have to level up individual perks as fast as possible, and putting points into some perks makes a huge difference in the long run. Below is a guide that will help you acquire skills faster and thus speed up the leveling process. The fastest way to level any skill is through training. You will want to train every level because you can only train 5 times per level and later levels take a very long me compared to the earlier levels. You will want to find the appropriate trainer for the particular skill you are looking for. As a general guide you will want to go the the mages college for training in any magica skill, the companions guild for weapon and armor training, the thieves guild for pickpocket, sneak, lockpicking etc. Usually specialized vendors also offer training for their specialization, for instance a smith will usually offer smithing training as well as selling items related to smithing. You can always pickpocket the gold you have spent on training from the trainer, but larger sums of gold usually have a 0% chance of being pickpocketed. The other advice I can give you is to use different ways to achieve things. For instance if every time you go low on health you use a healing spell your restoration will increase and thus help you level up. Also if you pickpocket often, which is incredible easy to level up, you will not only be able to sell those items but also quickly go through the levels. I also suggest sneaking around in dungeons as it can make some fights much easier if you can start the fight off with triple damage and bring down the health of an opponent by a fair way. It is also fun to murder people without them ever knowing you are there.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 15 Fast Leveling One Handed (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

One handed can take a long time to level up in the ordinary fashion. However, if you use the techniques I have outlined below you can solely focus on leveling one handed, speeding up the process significantly. As with destruction you will want to conjure a creature using the conjugation magic. It is best if you cast the spell that will create the creature with the most health as one handed levels up according to how much damage you deal to a valid opponent. make sure you have some restore magicka potions ready so that you can continues this techniques for a while because on the later levels it takes quite a lot to level up this skill. The best trainer is Chief Burguk who can be found in Dushnokh Val. Remember that the gold you paid for training can be pickpocketed back as long as it isn't too much gold (around 2000 gold the chance of pickpocketing approaches 0%).

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 13 Fast Leveling Destruction (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

In Oblivion you could conjure a being and then kill it with destruction magic. This is also the case for Skyrim. The destruction is slow to level up, but using the technique outlined below you can concentrate on leveling it up much more so than if you were just doing some quests. What you want to do is cast a being using the conjugation school of magic. Because I am not focusing on conjugation I only had the spell "conjure familiar" which I used. Then you can select any destruction spell and kill the creature you cast. If you have leveled up conjugation or have spells of creatures that have more health your destruction will level faster because it levels with the damage you do to a valid creature. The master trainer for destruction magic is Farelda in the College of Winterhold. She can be found in the first hall when you enter the college through the gate to the right. Just peak in every alcove around the hall and she should be in one of them. However, as you can see in the video below, she was not there for me which I believe is due to the fact that I am in the middle of a quest for the Collage of Winterhold.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 12 Fast Leveling heavy Armor (auluftwaffles.wordpress.com)

Heavy armor takes ages to level up in the normal way, but I have found a trick to it that will let you level up heavy armor without even having to be at you computer/console. You will have to put the difficulty on the lowest possible level. You will also need some pretty sturdy heavy armor that can take a heavy beating and reduce the incoming damage by so much that you could just stand there and do nothing. And that is exactly all you have to do. Find a group of enemies (sword or archers/magic is fine) and just stand there and tank the damage. You will have to make sure that you aren't taking too much damage that you will eventually die. Then you can walk away from the game and do something else for a few hours, but make sure that you check after a few minutes that you aren't going to die eventually. When you come back you should have level 100 heavy armor! The trainer for heavy armor is Farkas of the Companions in Whiterun. Remember that any gold you spend on training you can picpocket back from him so that you don't pay any gold. You will want to make sure that you do not train for more than 2000 gold before you pickpocket it back because then the chance of you succesfully getting your gold back is near 0% if not 0%.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 74 Deadric Armor and Weapons

Daedric armor and weapons are the best equipment in the game. The armor is better than the Dragon scale armor by a few points, but it is harder to get all the required items together. Before you even think about making some armor you need smithing on a high level. You can find a guide to leveling it quickly here: http://auluftwaffles.com/skyrim-walkthrough/fast-leveling-skills/fast-leveling-smithing/ I recommend level 100 because you will be able to improve the armor better. Next you will need some deadra hearths. There are two quests that I recommend doing. The first is "Pieces of the Past" which is a quest where you get a lame razor and 4 deadra hearths. You can find a guide for this quest here: http://auluftwaffles.com/2012/01/06/skyrim-pieces-of-the-past/ The other quest that is good is the "Black Star" quest for which I will write a guide tomorrow. I will paste a link here once it is published. You will also need some ebony ingots. I wrote a guide to getting around 21 of them and you can find it here: http://auluftwaffles.com/2012/01/07/skyrim-finding-ebony-ore-to-make-ebony-ingots/ In the "Pieces of the Past" quest you will also find a few ebony ingots. The other items you need you can buy from a smith. I usually go to the smith in Riverwood because I know he has an armor upgrading table.

Skyrim Walkthrough: Ep. 61 Best Warrior Build

More Info at: http://wp.me/1SfP0 For a close quarter warrior it is best to use swords because they offer the most mobility which will allow you to evade enemy blows. In addition it is best to use heavy armor because you can tank much more damage with it if you don't avoid a blow in time. Important Perk Trees The most important perk trees are one-handed and heavy armor because those two skills are going to define how strong your character is in combat. One Handed In one-handed the Armsman perks are essential because they are going to allow you to do much more damage. Because of the use of one-handed use the Bladesman perk because dealing critical damage is very good. However, most of the other perks are fairly useless because of the limited total perks that you can spend. You can find a guide to fast level one-handed below: http://auluftwaffles.com/skyrim-walkthrough/fast-leveling-skills/fast-leveling-one-handed/ Heavy Armor All of the heavy armor perks are very useful and I suggest you use all of them. You will want to go up the left side of the perk tree very quickly because of the Conditioning perk which will erase all negative effects that heavy armor has on movement and combat. This perk is the main reason to use heavy armor over light armor because light armor does not offer any advantages. You can find a guide to fast leveling heavy armor below: http://auluftwaffles.com/skyrim-walkthrough/fast-leveling-skills/fast-leveling-heavy-armor/ Secondary Perk Trees You are going to want to use a sword in one hand and healing in the other so that you don't have to constantly switch equipment around. Granted the shield offers more protection, but if you have to constantly bring up the favorites menu to change to healing and back to the shield your gameplay will be much slower and less enjoyable. Restoration You should use healing magic as often as possible instead of using a potion. Not only is the magic free, but it will also level up restoration. Speaking of which, the only perk you will ever need in restoration is the first which lets you cast novice level spells for half magicka. The healing spells that are higher level do heal you much faster, but it isn't worth the perk investment they need to be usable. You can find a guide to fast leveling restoration below: http://auluftwaffles.com/skyrim-walkthrough/fast-leveling-skills/fast-leveling-restoration-2/ Sneak Sneaking in itself isn't very useful with a warrior build because you will be very easy to detect once you get closer to your enemies, but the Light Footed perk is very useful as it lets you avoid worrying about pressure plates that will trigger traps. You will still set off some traps, such as soul gem traps, but you won't even notice the majority of the traps. To level sneak quickly be sure to crouch around a lot, when an enemy is nearby and you are crouched you level up sneaking. You or the enemy has to be moving though. Smithing The best armor in skyrim is the armor that you make yourself. There are two options to go through the smithing perk tree: the right and left side. The left side will offer light armor and the right side will offer heavy armor. However, the best armor is dragon armor which has both light and heavy armor. Thus you don't have to worry about the any other armor. The best weapons are deadric weapons. Thus you will have to go down the right side of the perk tree. You can find a guide to creating the best possible armor and weapons as well as a guide to fast leveling smithing below: http://auluftwaffles.com/2011/12/24/skyrim-daedric-weapons-and-dragonscaledragonbone-armor/ http://auluftwaffles.com/skyrim-walkthrough/fast-leveling-skills/fast-leveling-smithing/ Enchanting Enchanting is very useful because it can make you a lot more powerful. However, enchanting an object is final so you will only want to enchant a weapon or armor after yo have leveled enchanting up to 100. After that I recommend that you use a spell to absorbs magicka, health or stamina on weapons and spells that increase your primary skills as well as boosting health and stamina. I have found an amulet that increases your magicka, health and stamina by 30 points. It is very useful and the quests are very fun to complete. The only perks that I found useful is the middle line of perks which make skill enchantments better. The last perk (the one that requires level 100) is the most useful perk because it will let you put two enchantments on equipment. You can find a link to those quests as well as a guide to fast leveling smithing below: http://auluftwaffles.com/skyrim-walkthrough/guide-through-dungeons/forbidden-legend/ http://auluftwaffles.com/skyrim-walkthrough/fast-leveling-skills/fast-leveling-smithing/

A guide to fast level smithing can be found by clicking on the following link: Fast Leveling Smithing Collecting the Required Items You will need the following items to make the armor and wepons: Dragon Scale Armor (Full Set): 10 Dragon Scales (usually a dragon drops 3) 8 Leather Strips 4 Leather 5 Iron Ingots Deadric Sword: 1 Deadra Heart 2 Ebony Ingots Finding the Necessary Items You can find links to the shout locations with dragons guarding them below: Northwind Summit Autumwatch Tower Shearpoint Bonestrew Crest Mount Anther Dragontooth Crater Skyborn Altar Ancient Ascend Eldersblood Peak The daedra hearts are harder to collect. There is one in the basement of Jorvaskr (the home of the companions in Whiterun) but if you do want to make any more than one deadric item you will need to find more of them. The best way to collect as many as possible is to go to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. However, in order to enter you will have to go to the museum in Dawnstar and complete Silus Vesuius's Quests.
